Our first ward choir performance

Yesterday was the first performance of our ward choir since it's been under the direction of Brian and I. Normally Brian does the directing, and I do the behind the scenes work. Well, the pianist's grandma died and she wasn't going to be able to make it, so I had to direct the choir ( AHHH!) while Brian played. (Luckily Brian plays the piano so well.) It went pretty well, and the choir sounded decent. I am not nearly as talented as Brian and I was pretty nervous to think I was most likely being compared to him when I directed, but oh well. We're given callings sometimes to give us opportunities to improve our talents, and that's definitely what happened yesterday.

I know I am stating the obvious by saying so, but I have a feeling you two will be involved with music callings often. Anyway I am sure it went great.

Don't sell yourself short, Teresa. Brian is very talented in music but so are you. You make a great team!
