I need to journal about some cute things Brigham has been doing and saying lately before I forget.
I am now three months pregnant, and for the past little while have been having morning sickness. Every time I am having one of these bouts Brigham follows me into the bathroom and asks "Mommy, ya okay?" with a very concerned face. I catch him occasionally in the bathroom taking his turn pretending to be sick and then flushing the toilet. I am afraid he is a little confused on the concept of the potty, do you sit on it or spit in it?
He says his name Bigbum, so funny.
The other day on our way home from church Brian had said something about Brigham being a sweetheart and Brigham looked at me and said, "Mommy sweet heart". My heart melted it was so sweet.
Brigham is leaning new words every day it seems like. His vocabulary increased this week to include apple pie and pumpkin pie.
Brigham has been such a joy to have in our family, and I am excited to have a new addition in June.

Our family has been very busy lately. Time has flown by, and Brigham has grown increasingly cuter every day :) At least I think so. Here are some video clips from the past five months.
These first few videos he talked a lot of jibberish. He speaks a lot clearer now, but I was unable to catch any of it on film, since he becomes distracted as soon as I pull out the camera.

Recent photos
My mother-in-law asked me last night if I had a more recent picture of Brigham to give her.
My response "I have one from New Years."
Her response: "Teresa, that was eight months ago..."
I guess I'd better get on that.

Summer School
I am officially finished with my summer semester with a 4.0 gpa. I was ecstatic about my English class grade of 100%, pretty silly considering I didn't test well enough to place in the class.

Catch up
It's been too long since I've posted. I'm at the in-laws without any pictures, but I had a free moment that I thought I would take advantage of. Brigham had his first birthday last month, got three new teeth (with accompanying 104.6 degree temperatures and a few visits to the doctors), is increasing his vocabulary weekly, and has taken three steps on his own (although I don't consider it officially walking). I'll update when he is officially walking. Other than that, we are still ticking and enjoying warmer weather.

Family Night!
For about the past month and a half we have been going to Brian's parents to have family night and I have been loving it. As we drove home Monday night Brian and I both expressed how nice it has been to hold family night with the entire extended family. It's wonderful to hear all their thoughts and spend time with one another. Hooray for Family Night!

Table scraps
Last night I was watching my nephews so we ate in our dining room since it had more chairs. Later we were playing games and I heard Brigham eating something. I looked down and he was devouring a peach slice that his cousin had dropped on the floor from dinner. (Which was so frustrating because in order for his cousin to leave the dinner table he told me he had eaten that peach.) Anyway, I just remembered it and had to laugh.

Christmas 2008
This Christmas was bitter sweet for us. We had a wonderful time together as a family, all except Brian's mom. Brian's 18 year old cousin died December 23 and so his mom took off Christmas Eve to be with her sister and left me in charge of all the Christmas organizing. It was definitely not as fun without her, but it was a good Christmas. At such a trying time, it was nice to be celebrating the birth of the Savior.
I was only able to take a few pictures before the camera died. Brian got me a new keyboard and I made Brian a quilt with some of his t-shirts from high school and other memorable events. Brigham got some musical toys and a lego truck. He knew exactly what to do with his music set. It was so cute.
