10:00 pm Put Brigham to bed.
10:30 pm Put myself to bed.
11:30 pm Can't sleep.
12:35 pm Still Can't sleep.
1:00 am Finally fell asleep.
2:33 am Ring..Ring..Ring.. The house phone. I'm expecting the worst. First thought, who is hurt? Second thought, is our house on fire? (although if I had been thinking clearly, which is pretty hard when you've been awoken from a deep sleep, nobody really knows our house phone number). Brian answers it, and it's a salesman. Thanks a lot buddy!
3:10 am Finally back to sleep.
4:25 am Nightmares. (I won't share what they were because they were too scary)
Brigham slept through the entire night. The last few nights I haven't heard him cry in the night, but I wasn't sure if it was just because I was too sound asleep to hear it. Now I know I wasn't being a horrible mother. I hate salesmen.

It seems to make things worse knowing that your baby is sleeping so well and you can't sleep at all. It makes you realize all the valuable sleep time you are missing out on.
I'm sorry you had such a horrible night. Just remember that there is life after motherhood. Wait a minute---you will always be a mother, never mind. The no sleep when my kids were teenagers was more disturbing.
What? Salesman calling at that time? Doesn't it make you wonder what timezone he was on, or better yet, what drugs he was on? : )
Oh I hate that! It took me forever to get back to a normal sleep schedule once Chloe was sleeping through thte night. I got alot of reading done. =) Hope your nights get better. =)
