Celebrity Look-a-like

People often told my dad that he looked like Christopher Plummer (Captain von Trapp in "The Sound of Music"). Brian and I were watching "The Sound of Music" tonight, and it was uncanny the resemblance. I couldn't find the greatest picture of Christopher Plummer, but what do you think?

The Post Office

Yesterday I had to venture to the post office to pick up a certified letter. I swung by my mother-in-laws on the way and she agreed to watch Brigham since he loves the post office as much as I do.

As I entered the post office, the line was almost to the door. Our post office has a designated window just for pick-ups; however, no one was there, so I proceeded to take my spot in line. Well, apparently another gentleman decided my spot was his spot and pushed his way in front of me. I was going to let him stay, but the guy who was in front of me decided he didn't want me to be nice and informed the gentleman that the line should end with him instead of me.I waited patiently and was finally called to the next register. By this time, the line was past the front entrance.

The postal worker informed me that I could pick up my certified mail at the window, which was closed, and then announced to the rest of the post office that anyone with pick-ups could do the same. People began racing to the window holding their certified mail tickets in the air as if they had the winning lottery ticket. I was again shoved to the end of the line. Another postal worker opened the window and called for the owner of the ticket with the winning lotto number 8121... I pushed my way through the crowd as everyone gawked, cursed and stepped aside.

I had won! Unfortunately, my prize didn't have any monetary value. It was a notification from our home builder that our water may be turned off for 8-10 hours and we may have plumbers trapseing through our home for a week.

First Tooth

Brigham cut his first tooth. Brian was playing with him last night and noticed it.

Disc Golf

Brian has picked up a new hobby. It's very similar to his old hobby, only this one costs a lot less. I enjoy it too because we can take the whole family.

Hardy Look-alike Meter

I saw this on a friends blog and decided to test it out on us. I don't think it works very well, because everyone I know (including myself) says Brigham is an exact replica of Brian.
