We got a house!

Our house finally closed on Thursday April 10. It was a foreclosure and the previous owner did quite a number on it. We went to work right away and have gotten a lot accomplished. The carpet had been cut out of several of the rooms. We were able to find a carpet that matched, but had to put some more tile down in the kitchen to separate two rooms so it wasn't quite as noticeable. All the flooring is done now, but we still have a ways to go. We're excited to finally be in a place of our own and have a home to raise our family. I unfortunately am not very good at remembering to take pictures. When I think back on it, I missed out on a lot of memory making. There was one room that was painted bright blue and had sponged on stars all over. It took three coats of paint to cover it up.
