Thanksgiving Point

A while ago Abby invited us to go to Thanksgiving Point with her and her kids. First we went to the Farm and saw all the animals and got to ride on ponies.

Afterward we went to the Dinosaur Museum. If you have never been there, it is pretty neat and has a lot of intriguing things for children.

You can build your own dinosaur.

Hyrum's Mean Dinosaur :)

You can play computer games.

The erosion table. (Brigham didn't like this one too much. He doesn't really like to get dirty)

And discovering your own Dinosaur Fossils.

The little kids were real troopers.
We had a lot of fun. Every day for a week after Brigham would come in with a couple of pennies and tell me he had his money to go see the dinosaurs again.
Thanks Hyrum and Audree for letting us come along!

Some Thoughts

Last month we moved to Utah and we are settling in well. We have really enjoyed the weather, spending more time with my family, and our new church callings. Brian is serving as the Teacher's Quorum Advisor and I am the Assistant Webelos Leader. The boys are growing up so fast. Ephraim is just so cute and is 5 months old now. He is constantly moving and has the sweetest smile and laugh. One day I commented that I wonder why he is so spastic sometimes and Brian responded "Gee, I wonder" while demonstrating how spastic Brian can be most of the time.

Brigham has been potty training for several months off and on, but this last week I think it finally stuck. The end of diapers is in sight, once he can figure out how to poo on the toilet instead of in his underwear. He is so sweet and polite (most of the time) and a great joy to have in our household. Last night we had hamburgers and french fries for dinner and Brigham said "Thanks for having 'french fridays'!"

As it is the season of giving thanks, I have been especially grateful for my mother. She has been great company for me, and a lot of help. I have felt especially blessed both temporally and spiritually and am grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ, the Atonement and Latter-Day Prophets and servants of the Lord.
