Tuesday's Ten

1. We caught up with some old friends and had dinner.

2. Teresa's Mom, brother and his family came to visit.

3. We participated in a pie eating contest Saturday (neither of us won).

4. We had a great ward choir practice Sunday.

5. Teresa substituted in Relief Society and taught the lesson (it stresses her out).

6. We had family home evening with Brian's family.

7. We learned to line dance at our ward party.

8. We went to a community yard sale and found some good finds.

9. We bought Brigham a Halloween costume (he's going to be a horse. If I had been thinking I would've tried to find a duck since he does such a good impression).

10. ....

Proposition 8

Well, it's been too long since my last post. I don't really have anything new to report except for we are doing well.

Brian and I were just called and asked to to make phone calls in support of Proposition 8. To be honest, I sometimes feel like I live in my own little world because I had no idea about this issue. So for those of you who are like me, here is a link to an introduction from the Newsroom of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. (I don't know how to link it so you'll have to copy and paste.)

Bye-bye heat

I am so excited for the temperature to be cooling down again. It's been nice to be able to want to get outside more. Brigham loves being outside too. If he's ever being really fussy and I don't know what to do for him, we just go for a walk. He loves it.

(my title reminds me of a Sea-bond commercial that is pretty funny. These old ladies sing a song "Bye-bye paste, bye-bye yuckiness.." It makes me laugh every time. I found the commercial on youtube, but I couldn't post it on here for some reason.)
